Fahrenheit 9/11

I went and saw Fahrenheit 9/11. Nothing new there that I hadn't read before, but it is a good movie.

There are many op/ed pieces in papers. Michael Moore is one of a few that make op/eds profitably in a visual medium. Visual representation of things seems to be the only way for mainstream society to "get" an issue these days. Television news reporters should be taken to task for this. They should at least once a day for 15 minutes or so actually have an opinion on something. They should examine what it is they spew rather than just constantly spewing.

Our society is run by advertising. Advertising dictates that no one can have an opinion on something if they offend people the advertisers are trying to advertise to. This needs to change.
