comms are down

everything in the area has stopped working, telephones, internet, cell phones, atm’s, none of them are functional in this area of costa rica this afternoon. maybe the whole of costa rica or all of central america is offline, or maybe worldwide for all we know. this is an interesting feeling, being completely cut off from the rest of the world, and one that will likely be increasingly rare in the future. maybe i should enjoy it at the beach.
