two out of every five traded barrels of oil in the world travels through the 35 mile wide strait of hormuz. it makes you wonder why persian gulf governments are just now getting around to constructing a pipeline to divert 40% of that flow.
it sure would be interesting to see a recent satellite image of the gulf. with all the naval hardware floating around in there now, i bet it looks like a parking lot from space.
