i went up to mendocino a couple of days ago with hamburger. his friends jaques and denise have a stunning place on 40 acres of redwood trees. it felt really good to get out of berkeley and drive.
we also went up to marin and saw some old friends of ours. it was a reminder of how quickly time flies.

Nice. I could use 40 acres of redwoods around my house, preferably with a lake in the middle for balance and to attract winged visitors. But then my wife would freak out in no time. Oh well.
