spring is here

i had to get out of bed just now to reconnect a network cable so that i can use the laptop in bed. i was getting ready to get back in bed with my book and stopped by the computer to check email and currency prices. i could hear the chirping of what sounded like a nestfull of little baby chicks!

then i sat here listening more carefully. it is in fact a squeaky fan bearing in one of the computers out here.

hmmm. no on a third listen i do believe those are real little chirpers outside!
