this is an old favorite. from 1992. bret, levitz, and myself. slide guitar was an awesome way to re-use all the “dead soldiers” we inevitably had sitting around the studio/house. i remember this being a tough one to get just right because to get the perfect beer bottle to play bottleneck slide guitar, you of course must sample many bottles (you would not know from a cursory examination exactly how dissimilar budweiser longnecks can be)…….luckily the whole house was a studio. i tracked the vocals sitting on my bed. very brian wilson. that was a great time……
