A-440

it’s completely baffling to me why the tuner in logic defaults to A-410. the only other time i have run across detuning like this is on my victorian-era steinway upright, which supposedly was not designed to take the higher tension of a gazillion strings tuned to a modern A-440 scale. (i went ahead and grabbed a tuning arm and a strobe tuner and brought it up to pitch anyhow, and apparently it horrified the last piano tuner who discovered my high-tension wire stunt. probably should have just vari-speeded the tape machines….). anyhow….why default to A-410 i wonder?
