until we meet again

took a last quick sail with phil this afternoon/evening. i was thinking of IMing some peeps to play hookey, but then thought better of being a bad influence. (however, when i return and the weather is like today’s, i will not be showing such restraint). as we walked up the dock, i looked back at the boate and felt a little sad that it will be over a month before i am aboard. then i remembered….what the fuck am i getting all torn up about?! i’m on a plane tomorrow for new zealand. updates to come. (i suppose it would help if i stop sitting in front of this computer and actually pack).
